Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography from Waters
Discussions about HPLC, CE, TLC, SFC, and other "liquid phase" separation techniques.

I am just wondering what people think about Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography from Waters. My boss went to a three days course/presentation a few weeks ago and came up all pumped up about this idea. Now he is trying to convince everybody "to buy 1-2 systems for evaluation". I reviewed all materials he has on the subject but could not see why we have to spend so much money. Is industry moving towards UPLC or this technolgy has limited future. I just want to hear what other people think about it (Agilent and Waters scientists or whoever already using UPLC).
