Hi,
I know it's a stupid mistake. Can anyone tell me what I should do to rescue the column? It's an SEC column. I am washing it wth water for 24 hours with 0.1 ml/min flow rate now. Will it affect the future analysis? Since the agilent system can auto-degas, I am hoping it will reduce the damage to the system and the column. Can anyone tell me how serious the situation is? Thanks!

There seems to be an epidemic of that going around. That topic was just covered a few days ago:

If it's any comfort, we've probably all done it at one time or another!
