So we have a windows 10 computer with Chemstation Rev.B.04.03 and we recently set up a manual injection method (it is gas, Wasson unit, and requires manual injection). When we go to sample info, enter the sample information and click "run method" a box pops up for run now or abort and then it immediately goes into running the sample instead of waiting for the technician to press "start" on the GC panel. We have some other GC's in the plant on windows 10 and chemstation that are setup the same way without this problem and we have been unsuccessful so far in finding a solution for it. Does anyone have any ideas? The GC is an Agilent 7890A.

Check what you have set as the injection source in ChemStation. Reading between the lines, I guess that you have a valve configured as a gas sampling valve, and if you look in ChemStation this has been selected as the injection source. If this is the case, just select 'manual injection'.
