Can FFF be added to an existing HPLC system or does one need to buy a completely new system?

Good question - talking from a Wyatt perspective, you can integrate an Eclipse FFF system with existing HPLC systems from Agilent, Thermo and Shimadzu.
With an Eclipse Dualtec, you can continue using the HPLC for SEC / SEC-MALS or switch to FFF-MALS with the click of a software switch.
