Are there suppliers of NPLC columns on bare silica? Particle size can not be lager than 2.5 um.

Most suppliers will do columns down to 3µm

In normal phase chromatography cyano/phenyl columns are generally less affected by the presence of water in the mobile phase. They will also re-equilbrate faster between injections for gradient methods.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Hi Koen,

If you need a sub 2μm particle column, why don’t you try the Acquity HILC column?
It might be able to do the job for you.

Knauer in Berlin seems to produce NP-columns using 1.8 um material. I remember that I saw somewhere on their website a Tocopherol NP-application in less than 2 minutes.
