Anyone had any experience with HCCPD by EPA 508? Always is giving us a headache in DW PT studies. Getting like 150-172% recovery on PT studies, QC are good. Argh!

Are you using a second source, and does it confirm your calibration?

Yes it does. I know we had a problem with split/splitless injector on the pesticide method (508, etc). Might there be a similar problem here?

My mistake on that last post. We did discover a problem with split/splitless on one of the other instruments - not necessarily the one for 508. Sorry.

Do you see a quadratic curve over the range of your calibration? I have had experience with HCCPD being a poor responder in the past, but if it's coming up high, and your spikes are okay, I would look at the range of your plot.

I'll go back to the lab and pull some curves and check. I'll let you know - thanks
