Waters Acquity pump motor los synchronization. What to do?

Hi,
on my Waters nanoAcquity system I keep getting the following message: Pump B Pump motor lost synchronization. (Accumulator, flow xx mL/min, Pressure...). These errors have shown up about a year ago and in the meantime, the system was running fine. Well, now they are back and they show up now and then during runs. It is nothing I could trace to any particular method or flow rate or specific time during the gradient.
It gets quite annoying.
Google says that the Controller board in the pump is probably bad which will cost money that I don't have.
I wonder if this error comes from a faulty part on the board that can be replaced? Something like a fuse, battery, capacitor etc.?
Is there anything else I can do to avoid this error apart from calling in a Waters technician and chain him to the pump until it works without hiccup's?
Cheers
Hey! Please check if the fans on the back are working.
if they are ok maybe one or more of the actuators are broken or have mechanical problems. You can try to open the bsm from the upper side. there you can find the 4 actuators with a white filter material on the top and a fixing ring on it. open it and try to fix it with spray oil. in most cases it will work. if not and if you can see a lot of rust in it you have to change the whole actuator.
