HI all

I just want to know definition of zero gas, and some suppliers always ask me to run zero gas in GC, what's for.

Thanks in advanced
LDCCL

Zero gas is a purified gas standard ( often with the composition of air for emissions testing ), that has impurity concentrations below the detection limit of the instrument being used or calibrated.

The more sensitive the instrument, the higher the purity of zero gas required to confirm the zero calibration point.

Please keep having fun,
