Dear all,
Hello. I would like to ask my first question, or help request here. I am working on ThermoFinnigan LCQ Advantage, which is also equipped with the dynamic ESI ion source. Now I'm planning to set up a nanoLC (not include the pump and injector) to the dynamic nESI source for some proteomics work. So far got information from SGE Peptide Kit (kind of nLC starter kit, containing tubings, tee, loop, fitting, furrules, trap column, anal. column, etc.). Also heard people mentioning nLC system from Protana Inc. Has anybody had experience on those two systems or any other systems (companies)? I'd like to know how good/robust they are, the reproducibility, easy to install, maintain, flow control..., etc. before I go for sth. Any ideas and comments I would welcome. Thanks a lot in advance. :) .

Sorry, but I do not completely understand what you have in mind ... You want to set up a Nano LC without pump and injector? How should that work?
Hi, I have pump available in the lab and the injector as well, so at this step I won't think those two in my listing.

Thanks for asking :)

May I ask which pump and injector you are planning to use?

Ok, this makes it a lot clearer. :)
May I ask which injector and pump (brand) you are planning to use?
