What is "throw time"

On the ChromQuest, you can set a "throw time" for autosample, what is that?

I haven't got a clue. It's one of those "non-standard" terms that hardware engineers make up. I would either check either the on-line help and see if it's defined there, contact tech support from Thermo, or (if you are brave and/or reckless) try changing it and see what happens).
