Have you looked at Linux4Chemistry? http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~noel/linux4chemistry/
There is also one project on Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezdata/ but it looks rather inactive.

Thanks for your reply - unfortunately there was nothing relevant there. The first had many chemistry related programs but nothing related to HPLC, the second as you suspected was dead.

Are there any open source programs related to HPLC?

Tom Mizukami (if I remember correctly) has a long time ago written a spreadsheet in Excel which takes the input of 2 gradients, and allows to play with other gradients. Don't know if that's enough?

Don't know if he's still active on this forum, and I have no copy at hand this moment, I will have to dig in my archive....

HPLC seems to be an unpopular subject for open source projects. One of the few I know of is my own chromatogram viewer for AIA/ANDI files at http://www.mt-se.com/xhr_1.html but it is for Mac OSX. I have been working on a Linux/GNUstep version, but several pieces don't work quite right. If there is a real interest, I might try to add some new features.
