Hi to all!
We have a HPLC system with a post-column derivatization system from Pickering laboratories. The problem is a high pressure in the OPA solvent system in the PCX - 5200. How can we solve the problem, any sugestion?
Thanks in advance for your help!

There are a couple possibilities, but the most likely is the restrictor column is fouled. Take the OPA gauge panel off, and find the thing that looks like a small HPLC column, and take it out. You can try cleaning it by washing with water then acetone. Don't take it apart. If that fails, replace it. Also, check that the flow rate of OPA reagent is correct.

Call Pickering. Their tech support is pretty good. (I used to work there.)
