EPS (extra polar site) column conditions

Discussions about HPLC, CE, TLC, SFC, and other "liquid phase" separation techniques.

hello to all,

Does any body knows the required conditions for the EPS column?
I am planning to use Platinum EPS C18 300A 5u from Alltech for my experiment (trying to study the cross links from collagen protein).

Is there any special procedures in terms of cleaning the column between
each experiment?

Is there any specific solvent, I should use for this kind of column ?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

In general, the "embedded polar" columns can be treated pretty much the same way as any silica-based reversed-phase column.

300A "protein" rp columns mobile phase is typically ACN/Water... some employ use of 0.1% TFA...

Buffer Removal - 5 to 10% Organic in Aqueous...

Organic Flush - 100% ACN....

Storage - anywhere from 65/35 - Organic/Water... make sure no buffer.....

Hope this helps....
