dear all
I am looking to develop an hplc method for an ester prodrug of an antibiotic. it has a pKa of 8.4 and is basic in nature. It is not soluble in water (1%) and has stability problems in aqueous solution. Kindly suggest me solvents to dissolve the drug as well as mobile phase for performing HPLC (with photo diode array detector)

We're not mind-readers. Before we can suggest a solvent and conditions, it would help if you could tell us what it is soluble in!
