I was wondering what likely causes are for "downward peaks" in a baseline? Generally we've had pretty linear, stable baselines, but now there are downward bursts appearing frequently.

I remember once on my Varian 2000 GC-MS a similar issue arose and I simply did an RF adjustment.

Any thoughts on the Agilent?
