Does anyone know of a good reference for setting up a routine maintenance program for Agilent HPLC systems?

Thanks,
Bob

This may depend upon whether you're in a controlled lab, such as GLP or cGMP, which have higher standards. If not controlled, check supplier's manuals, CDs, or Technical help page. We have Agilent HPLCs and for our cGMP instruments the service engineer first does preventive maintenance which includes pump seal replacements (2), checking both pump pistons for scratches, PTFE purge frit, ALS needle seat, possibly ALS metering valve piston seal (same part as for pump), UV lamp life or output.
