is this due to air leak?

Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.

I changed a tank of He carrier gas for my 6890/5975 GC/MS on Monday. The air water check is:
18/69=0.3%
28/69=3.65%
32/69=0.23%
44/69=0.12%
28/18=1199

Do I have air leak based on this test?

If there is leak, how come I only have a lot of nitrogen?

Thanks,
ziman

Air/Water looks fine to me. I don't see anything suggesting a leak.

Yes, It is a good tune report indicating no leak, as the Agilent recommends that the abundances of m/z 18, 28, 32, & 44 should be less that 5% of m/z 69.

Cheers,
Jimmy

thanks a lot, you guys
