capacity measurements in CEC

On capacity measurements, how can you get different capacity measurements on the same stationery phase using different analytes and/or different mobile phases- i used the breakthrough method for that.

This kind of measurement basically depends on the limiting solubility of the analyte in the stationary phase's bonded layer, and also the relative solubility in the mobile phase. If these things were all the same, there would be no chromatography!
