Hi all,

Im working with an LCQ duo mass spectrometer and Im working with peptides.The issue was that when I was performing a rutine analysis the signal disaparred and when I change the nitrogen, the sistem could reach the signal again.
My question is:

The hardware manual said that the sheath gas flow works between (20-100) and I usually work near 35-40.
Could be the reason that I lost the signal?? other thing was that the baseline looked like an spike during the run.
How can affect the sheath gas flow 35 to 20 my signal?
