Hi all,

I have Agilent 1220 HPLC and wish to run for tretinoin analysis.

My sample will be whitening cream.
Mobile phase that I'm gonna used is mixture of water, MeOH and acetic acid.

So I have 4 types of Agilent Column and wondering either 1 of them can be used for this determination?

Zorbax:
1. Eclipse Plus C18
2. Eclipse Plus C8
3. RX-Sil
4. PAH

Thanks a lot.
A generic C18 column should work. You can probably use either of those. It depends how far you want to go in optimization of the method (speed, peak sharpness,..).

Just make sure the column can handle the pH range you work at.
