I m looking for the ethylene dichloride in formalin, maybe ppm level. I m thinking of using GCMS, any suitable column to use? Can it be injected directly? Or should I should headspace?

Without knowing any more, I would be tempted to use SPME headspace in SIM mode (62,98) using a polar column such as Innowax or equivalent starting at 40°C.
Hope that helps.
