Focus GC with AI3000 and chromquest 5.0 not sending trigger

I have a Focus GC that I have been using for the past 3 years and recently after a couple of months of off time, the autosampler is not sending the trigger to start the injection. It begins the sequence and moves to adjust itself but will sit and "exec prep run events." The problem is that there are no events on the run table and even creating a new method doesn't solve the issue. I have even attempted to configure the autosampler out of the instrument setup but the system will still sit in stand by/prep run mode without ever progressing to the ready to inject state.

Is this a software issue or a mechanical issue? Has anyone ever run into this problem before?

Hello

Go to "Configuration" - "Oven configuration" menu and check :
-Auto prep run
-Auto start
Check them on/off to see if you can change settings.
