Cross talk

How cross talk is removed in API,Quatro micro mass and thermo LC-MS/MS?
We have just meet a cross talk problem last week in API 3200. When the method transfer from API 4000 to API 3200, we find IS's peak just after inject the neat solution for X (and we use D9-X as IS), but in API 4000, there's no peak.
Then we change the dull time from 5 ms to 20 ms, then there's no cross talk peak.
