Does anyone may suggest me a good column for HIC separation of protein on HPLC?. I would like to separate two or more conformers of the same protein, so I want to use an aqueous buffer system on a column that will not promote denaturation of the protein. I have worked a lot on preparative sepharose based HIC, but I have never used HIC HPLC columns before.

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Dionex recently introduced the ProPac HIC column for protein separations. It is a silica-based polyamide-functional material. You can check it out on the website: http://www1.dionex.com/en-us/columns_ac ... 30307.html

Of course there are other brands, and I'm sure you will hear from them also.
