3 detector GC?

Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.

Has anyone know if it is possible to have three detectors on a GC? We are trying to incorporate a MS, TCD, and FPD onto a GC and didn't know if that was at all fessible. I know that every GC i've seen has 2 injection ports max but didn't know if there was a way to incorporate some kind of split column for the TCD and FPD.
Thanks

Whilst I cannot comment regarding other GC systems I would be surprised if most manufacturers could not offer MS, TCD and FPD the question would only be why ? Thermo could supply this combination on the Trace GC, in fact I think any two non MS detectors and MS. Also MS with ECD/FID and a fourth detector. The FID could also be exchanged with NPD and FPD. ECD is non destructive and it is possible with Thermo GCs to stack the others on top of the ECD. One of our engineers traveled to the States to install a Trace GC with all the detectors except TCD on the front of a Triple quad  I doubt however that they use anything but the MS and possibly the FID.
