Hi everyone, I am now facing a problem with my GC machine. I am still very new with GC, so I dont know much about it.
I use DS Science iGC7200 first generation, it is from Korea I guess.
At first, when it was analyzing, when it almost finished, it showed popped-out window 'These devices are not supplied with GAS or have some H/W error. Please check these devices' So I checked the helium pressure, it was good. So I restarted the software, it was normal, but when in the end of analyzing, the message came out again. So I checked the IP number for the machine and make it same in the main set up. I tried to run again but it happened again.
Then I tried to restart the machine, but then I couldn't even connect to the software. It says 'Can not connect to iGC7200 system. The communication errors must be checked'. SO I checked the LAN cable and the router, and I guess there is nothing wrong.
Anyone ever faced this? What can be wrong? I read that there could be problem either with the GC or computer.

Thank you ~~
I don't have any experience with this instrument manufacturer. This is actually the first I've ever heard of it. If I were you, I would see if I can figure out if the GC is working properly first. If you're new to GC, it would take me too many key strokes to tell you what to do step-by-step. Do you have a service representative that you can contact? If you are inexperienced, this will get you to the bottom of your problem in the shortest time possible.

These communications problems can be difficult if you're not well versed in how the manufacturer does it. Simply reinstalling the software may not do the trick for you.
