Is it true that splitless injection would make my injection port dirty faster than split injection? How many injections shall I change liner and spetum?

Thanks a lot!

all depends on what you are shooting and your method parameters. If you are saying you typically run split and are worried about running splitless, no. Under the right conditions I have run literally hundreds of injections with no problem whatsoever, all splitless. Can't remember the last method where I ran split. Make sure you have in your method to open vent after about 30 sec to 1 min. alot depends on your compound and the concentration you are shooting.

As far as how often to change liner and septum, not until your chromatography tells you to.
Whats the saying, never trouble troubles, till troubles trouble you.
