I am looking to develop a method for the analysis of Alendronic Acid. I have found some methods involving HPLC,LC,GC, however the limits of detection are too high.

I am looking to quantitate at the 0.05ng/ml level.

Does anyone have any guidance on this..????

Hi Tomo,

I've been looking into this too, but I haven't found any references that go that low. What is your matrix? Is it a biological sample? The lowest LOQ I've seen is Kline and Matuszewski in J. Chromatography 583 (1992) 183-193. They got down to 1 ng/mL by derivatizing it with a fluorescent tag, but the work up looked really finicky. I'm sure the reproducibility must be crummy.

Send me an email and I'll send you my list of references, if you like.
