Hello!
I hope somebody is dealing with Ph Eur method for residual solvent determination. I have 2 questions:
1. What kind of water can we use? The test (limit test) has the requirement that water has no interference peaks. We explored 6 different kind of water but all of them show interference peaks. It is possible to by special water for organic trace analysis but it is very expensive (100ml 32 Eur). Any suggestions? How can we prepare water without organics?
2. For Solvent solution (a) we bought Class 1 residual solvent solution from Restek. Now I am in doubt is this solution allready Solvent solution (a) or should I used it for the preparation of Solvent solution (a)?
