ivermectin analysis

can you help me about ivermectin analysis in sheep sera . Especially extraction method but useless SPE cartridge. Because recovery is too bad. I've a method gokbulut c. add. all. in vet. parasitology 2005 but sample too dirty extraction isn't enough so calibration curve standart 60% and spiked worse than standarts. Please inform me if analysed ivermectin in sera.

Long, long time ago I worked for the California Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory System toxicology lab. For some reason, the Midwest Region of AOAC International became the meeting area for people in this field, at least in the U.S. You should try to get in touch with those two organizations. Lots of very helpful people.

In our lab we determine ivermectin and other macrocyclic lactones in animal tissues by HPLC with FLD detection.
First question is what kind of detector do you use for analysis?
We have some experience with iveremectin in plasma. If you are intersted it it I can send you procedure by e-mail.

thank you for you reply we use FLD emission 475 ,excitation 475 and we use two different mobil phases firstly acetonitril-methanol ( 66/34), than acetonitril -tetrahydrofuran-water (40-40-20) with the second mobil phase retention time longer than acetonitril methanol 12. mins. my e-mail

Sorry, I was not clear enough. Interferences can be removed with well-thought-out SPE techniques. I am interested in your SPE method. Maybe I can find some ways to imporve it.
