I am working in a vegetable oil factory and I want to use tocopherol in sunflower oil..
Actually I did a oil sample which has 200 ppm dl-alpha tocopherol..
I working with a temp programmig which starts with 120 C and 215 C finally and I can see fatty acids by this method..my column is SGE 60 m*0,25 mm ID-BPX70 capillary column
and Perkin Elmer autosystem XL gc model
Now I dont have internal standart and I wanted this and I learned that mixture type of tocopherols are more useful for vegetable oils..From literature I did a programme
Initial ramp 240 C 5 min
1.step 4 250 C 8 min
2.step 4 260 C 8 min
This program is only experiment.I try ..
I have some questions:
.Normally, I firstly esterificated with metillent solution,then I use heptan as solvent,and I use top the phase and I inject..
Do you know any methods or what is the my faults?
