I am looking for software (preferably free) that would allow to convert chromatographic data from ASCII to Varian's .RUN files for use with Varian Star Workstation 5.5. Do You know any?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Marian,

You should take advantage of the Star to Galaxie discounted upgrade available at the moment. Galaxie 1.9 (just released) has the ASCII file import capability you request. Generating a Galaxie.Data file in the process.

Contact your local Varian representative.

Thanks, I'll try to to get Galaxy if possible (seems to be easier way to convert than one I found).
Few days ago, while on one of University's coputers I have found very nice programme ChromConvert from Jasco, which was the first one that was able to convert my ASCII chromatograms in proper way to AIA format. From that I converted them to *.RUN. (ChromConvert came with one of chromatographs but it was not installed instantly...But we have it now for "free").
