Empower 2 and Agilent HP100

What does it actually take (a stepwise plan please) to run an (upgraded HP100) Agiient 1100 from Empower 2? Waters is asking $5200 for the (keydisk?) license though we have an existing Chemstation license and an Empower 2 license.

The first thing you must do is ensure that the 1100 has the correct firmware (for each componenet) for Empower control, Waters can provide that list. Pay the $5200, connect the cables and you are good to go. Waters will provide you with a detailed list of things to do (cables, connections, settings, firmware and all of that kind of stuff). The $5200 is for the 1100 control licence and support, not just the key disk.
