GC OFFLINE PROBLEM

Hi
i'm a new chromatographer and new in the forum .
i'am having a problem with the GC i work with . everytime i try to launch offline it ain't open and i get an erreur message says the location of file does not existe .
why that always happen ? how can i deal with that ? and what file and what location ?

There are several different chromatography softwares and different GCs. They behave differently. That's why you have to be more precise if you want somebody to try to help you.

Hello

I think the problem you have is with .ini file (it is file that is created during first instalation). If you don't have a lot of experience, I'd recommend:
1. put Chemstation software to CD/DVD drive
2. You should have window with 3 options: repair, modify, remove
3.Choose repair and system will load all files again (overwrite)

Of course backup will be done automatically however you can safe your data before (safe option is to save Chem32 folder).

The procedure I described is the simplest one as you don't have experience with Agilent products. If you have some knowledge about registers and core files you can try to check them.
