Hi,
I attempting to set up a 8270D SIM method. I have been running the scan version of the method for a while. I also have a preliminary setup of my SIM groups. The part that I am having trouble with is determining the mass centroid through chemstation, I'm using rev B.01.00. What would be the best way to determine it? I was attempting to do it through the tabulate function but really wasn't sure if I was preceding correctly or not. If anyone has any general information or tips about setting up a SIM method with method 8270 it would be much appreciated as well.

Steve
The way I was told is to make multiple injections while setting the ions in the group 0.1 D apart. IE 100,100.1,100.2 and so on until you have all your compound exact masses. This can take some time.

Good luck
