Hi guys,

I really need some help, can anyone help me please!!

I'm working on a very old IC(Dionex DX-120), with old Chromeleon(verson 6.8).

Recently sequence aborted in the middle of regualar running(Sample status "interrupted"). IC can be restart mannually, but the Audit trail shows message:
"[Warning] 2:17:01 PM 2.507 {ECD} Delay of up to 5 seconds in retrieving module information (0x18 0x19 ). This is unlikely to affect results."

Since then, IC sequence aborted after about 7 hours every time I restart Chromeleon, with the message:

"[Abort] 5:59:25 PM 8.999 {ECD} Error receiving data:
Module has timed out."

Did anyone see this message before? How can I fix this? Please help me or send me email to crazy0330@163.com. Thanks!!

Best

Hi,

As the DX120's connection is via LAN or even the older BNC, please check every connection, t-piece, the HUB/Switch. Maybe you'll have to exchange defective parts of the BNC network.
Also check you PC network card or try a new one.
Maybe you'll have to reinstall or repair your Chromeleon installation or just install a newer Service Release (latest one is SR15).
Since the DX120 is obsolete for some years now, it could also come from a defective mainboard. In this case you won't hav a chance to get a new one ($!) and you should look for an actual IC model (ICS-1100 or ICS-1600).
