Printing issue on Empower 3

Hi everyone;

I have a Empower 3 install in company and we are using Sharp MX series printer (multi function printer) for all user. The printer is required user to enter pin number to pick up print job. In my test, when print a report to this printer, it does not print but I can print a test page from Printer Properties, or from a MS Word. The Water engineer told me that because the printer blocking the print job from Empower 3.

Is that true? When I switch to a standalone USB printer, the report print OK. If the Empower only work with any standalone printer.

If you know this issue, please let me know.

In an enterprise setup, Empower tends to "own" its print jobs even though users are generating them. If there is no provision in your print spoolers for anonymous jobs, and you can't get your IT department to set up something, all you can do is save local copies of PDF files from your report publisher, then print these as you would any other PDF.
