We are in Argentina and we have this equipment (new) with TDS (termic desorption system):
We have bad signal/noise (<10:1) with direct injection of 0.5 microlt of 10 ppm acetone on carbon disulfide.Is this normal? We are using a relativily new column (HP Ultra 1) 50x32, that was baked before the first use for six hours at 300°C. The abundance level of blank is about e5
