I am looking for an HPLC. I have similar quotes from Agilent and Thermo. Any comments on the relative merits. They are quaternary, VWD, autosampler.
Presumably you mean an Agilent 1200? I have used Agilent 1100 systems over the years and like them LOTS. I have not used the 1200 series or the current generation of Thermo systems.

Chris
Agilent is ending guaranteed support for the 1100.

Take a look at Waters Acquity H-Class
Thanks, yes the 1100 was a "refurbished" unit from Agilent ( I might be going off that idea if their support is going to stop!)
