what is the different between these techniques ?
Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.

Hi , I read the manual but did not distinguish between ( Thermo ) GC trace ultra and GC focus , there are two instruments but which for which , MS with trace ultra I feel it provide less sensitivity than Ms with FOCUS

focus and trace are just names for the GC part of the instrument.
a focus GC is older (2002 aprox) than a trace ultra (2007 ??)
