I am using DX100 IC, during my mdl run the analytes elutes ealier than expected. The flow rate is constant @ 2.0ml/min. What are the possible sources of retention time shift of anions (Cl,F, Br, No3,, NO2, SO4 and PO4). and what are the possible troubleshooting procedure. Thank you in advance.;
Hello darylm,

Have you checked the composition of the eluent, the condition of the guard and analytical columns, and the column and detector temperatures. Any slight changes to any of these parameters may create a shift in retention time. In addition, If you are performing manual injections, have there been any changes to your injection technique. If you are using an autosampler, have the settings been altered.
Kind regards,
