Monolithic Columns 5-10x faster separations

I was wondering how many of you reading this forum use monolithic columns and why? Apparently, they increase separation and throughput.
There's one listed on ebay that I was contemplating buying but wanted
to consult you experts first.

Dionex just acquired the Swift product line of polymeric monolithic columns from Teledyne Isco, and hired their top chemist. I hope to learn more about this area (I'll be sharing lab space with them), and perhaps be able to pass some of that along to our readers.
