We are looking to add a benchtop triple quad to our lab. I am most familiar and partial to Micromass products, and my colleague is familiar and partial to Sciex products.
Does anyone with experience with both give me some pros and cons? The instrument will be used as an open access "single" quad part time of teh time, as well as performing quantitation and structural MS/MS work.
I am wondering mostly about sensitivity, but also about the open access and metabolomics software options. I know that the quattro micro has the esci (ESI/APCI) mode, as well as fast pos/neg switching. Are similar functions available on the API 2000?
Thanks.
