Need help if anyone is running this method on this instrument. I am using the Restek Clpesticide column pair. Need help.

Thanks,

Joe
This method should work on any dual ECD gc. As stated in many posts, we need more information in order to help. What have you done so far? What issues are you having?
Not sure based on reading the method if we should be prepping the standards like samples prior to analysis or if we can make up the standards in MTBE and run them directly.
from 552.2:
10.1 Initial Calibration Curve
10.1.1 Calibration is performed by extracting procedural standards, i.e.; fortified
reagent water, by the procedure set forth in Section 11.0. A five-point
calibration curve is to be prepared by diluting the primary dilution
standard into MTBE at the appropriate levels.

The method is procedural standard, i.e. the standards are extracted and derivatized in the same way as the samples. This helps to account for the poor methylation rate on a couple of the target compounds.
Thanks will go through extraction procedure next Tuesday report back then.
