hi there

I´m trying to figure out the way to change the default reports in chemstation.
Not the ones in repstyle folder. I mean the ones that you can choose in specify report option.
I´d like to change the format and other things.

thanks in advance
First, please let the forum know which version of ChemStation you are using.

sorry for the delay.
my chemstation version is B 04 03.

thanks in advance
When you are in ChemStation, you should see in the lower left side three 'buttons' marked 'Method and Run Control', 'Data Analysis' and 'Report layout'. If the 'Report Layout' is not visible, click on the small down arrow underneath these buttons and you will see a pop up window that will allow you to add the 'Report Layout' button.

Click on the Report Layout button and you will get a new window.

Click on 'File' in the top menu and then click on 'Open template'. You can choose one of the standard layouts.

At this point I would recommend that you immediately click on "File/SaveAs" and save the template with a new name.

You can now remove or move to different positions the report items or add new text or numerical items to the report template.

If you need some guidelines, click on the "Help" button in the top menu bar, then 'Help topics' and type in 'Report Layout' in the Search pane.
