no signal

Hello,

Some times ago I had problems with my configuration and I switched
to a configuration with two lines.
One line for liquid samples with a carbowax column, a PTV - injector and an MS, which works except for a problem of reproducibility.
One line for gases with a micro packed column. a TCD and a splitless injector.
Being a beginner in this field, I did this change myself.

Now we have a problem: No signal appears with the gas line after injecting air.
Modification of inlet pressure and flow does not change anything.
There is a baseline with background noise, the value is not zero.
We are injecting manually with no problem, so no syringe problem due to clogging etc..

What may be the reason for the absence of signals?
We suspect a problem with the column connection...

Thanks

Problem resolved.

The pressure which was calculated by the program was wrong because it was
calculated for a capillary column not for a micro packed column.
