Connecting Galaxie to ICP-MS Expert

Hello,

I am trying to get Galaxie software to communicate with ICP-MS Expert software. I have installed all the drivers for all the hardware that I will be using (ProStar 210 pumps x2 and Varian ICP-MS 820).

All devices are recognised within the Galaxie software. However, when I press "connect" to the ICP-MS in the galaxie software, it states that the plasma is on but an error message appears in the ICP software (2003 - communication failed). From this point it is impossible to control the MS through the ICP software and I have to restart the cpu and re-load ICP-MS Expert in order to shutdown the plasma.

Does anyone have any experience in using this setup?

We have got an old donated Varian Ultramass 700 ICP-mass but it has no manual. Could you please email me a copy of the 820 manuals. 820 is different but a lot of parts are similar and 820 manuals can help a lot when there is no manual for ultramass 700 could be found. My email is:
