I want to buy a used ELSD detector to use with my agilent LC1260.

I've got available for sale - cheap - an Alltech 2000 ELSD. We used this like twice a year, nothing wrong with it. Why are we willing to sell? The boss bought Agilent's latest and greatest ELSD, as it would connect directly to the OpenLab system and didn't need to use the 35900E A/D converter box through which it formerly communicated. So that's why it would be available for peanuts.Agilent makes/sells ELSD detector that are controlled directly by your Chemstation. I believe those others will require an A/D converter box.
