ThermoFIsher - Power outage and GC MS ITQ 700

Good afternoon,

Here is the issue : We do have sometimes power outage and I'm really afraid to run the Themo GS MS FocusMS - ITQ700.

Is there a way for the MS to shut down properly in case of poweroutage? We are going to add a UPS in the future .

what about a backup power battery? this was should the power drop you can shut down while battery keeps keeps running the MS

Yes, we are thinking about that but this is only ok for a short period of time and this will prevent the GCMS to run during the night...

We will have a power backup but we need to install a triphasic power outlet first...

Usually the power outage itself is not the issue.. It is the uncontrolled return of power that usually causes problems..

I would install a switch that automatically disengages the power is there is a power outage.. The when you know the power is back you can manually engage the power in a controlled manner..
