Analog Data connections for HP5890 Series II GC

Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

I have an HP 5890 Series II GC that I would like to connect to a strip chart recorder. There are analog out connections under the cover of the top right of the instrument and the manual lists several cables that can be purchased with varying connections. However these are all rather expensive from Agilent or EBay. I think I can make my own if I can figure a source for the female 12 pin connector (2 rows of six pins) I need to plug into the male connector on the GC.

Does anyone know the name or a source of the connectors?

Thanks
Try the part number 5-102398-1 from the supplier TE.

Perfect - just what I was looking for. Thanks for the help.
Just a note for others that might have an interest in this subject, the actual TE number for the HP 5890 analog output connectors should be 5-102398-4 which is the 12 pin female connector (two rows of six pins). I ordered the 5-102398-1 from Digi Key which has 6 pins (two rows of three) by mistake (I should have look closer at the description). Two of these connectors do fit in the HP socket side by side but if I need more I'll get the -4 version although apparently Digi Key doesn't stock this version.
I went through this about a year ago, ended up doing my own research and purchasing the TE part 87922-2 (12 position housing with strain relief and alignment guide). Which works perfectly, ensures the correct orientation etc. But requires the contacts to be crimped onto the cable, then inserted into the housing... and the crimp tool ended up being $260 :/

I'll be looking for more IDC connectors in the future, needless to say.
